The turn of the new year usually signifies a lot for many people, people start new resolutions, new goals, new plans, even new relationships!
For me however, I've been challenged to make a change in my physique. As a new fitness trainer and nutritionist, many people confronted me with being obese. Seeing that I'm obese myself, I've been giving people quite some advice based on what I've done to keep myself in the better shape of health to avoid problems.
That's going to have to be different now, in the quest to better provide value for those who wish to be healthier, I shall take my own advice to heart! It's time to start a Revolution!
Of course to start a revolution, someone needs to go first. With that in mind, my intention is to start by blogging my own results weekly so that those who would like to carry the torch, there's a path blazed for you! Of course, we all know that it's always better to do it together. So grab a friend or two, and start your own Revolutionary Journey!
First up, before you begin any journey(except the one that life got for you) you'll need to know 4 things to begin your own fitness and health revolution:
Knowing your body is an interesting ideology. When I first started on this journey, I honestly thought that I knew everything about my body. (like the back of my hand anyone?) Turns out, there's more to know than just that.
For example, did you know that some people look fatter but may not weigh heavier than others?
This is because fat(less dense) takes up more space than muscles(more dense)! (insert muscle brain joke here)
Having too much fats while not really a bad thing for some people (they may like curvier bodies) may cause physical complications in the long run, not talking about the physiological ones. The knees and back for one, need to deal with the burden of a lot of excess weight that has no means of controlling its stability
Also is the case of the Hidden Fats the ones they call Visceral Fats. These guys attach themselves discreetly among our body's own organs and often sneakily get past our visual detection systems! Just Like:
Visceral fats are good in small quantities but when they get too large, they crowd out living spaces for our vital organs to function properly!
So these are vital information that we would need to have to begin our Revolution. As such all Revolutionaries are required to do a simple body composition analysis to find out these markers. For your convenience, this link below will bring you to where you could get a simple form for just that purpose.

So the three main things about the body composition that would help us out:

- Body Fat Percentage
- Skeletal Muscle Mass Percentage
